International Colloquium on Plant Nutrition

AgriTecno will participate in the upcoming 18th International Food Colloquium (IPNC).

The colloquium will take place on August 21-24, 2017, in Copenhagen, Denmark. The venue is the Tivoli Hotel and Congress Center, located in the heart of Copenhagen.

Since its inception in the early 1950s, the IPNC has become the most important international meeting on fundamental and applied food science. The main theme of the 18th International Plant Nutrition Colloquium is “Plant Nutrition for Global Green Growth.” This theme was chosen to emphasize that plant nutrients are the basis for successful intensification of global crop production. This intensification is necessary to meet the future biological society’s needs for nutritious food, feed, and raw materials.

The colloquium will be an excellent forum for the exchange and transfer of knowledge, information, and ideas, as well as for creating new collaborations and stimulating synergies in the fields of mineral plant nutrition, plant molecular biology, plant genetics, agronomy, horticulture, ecology, environmental science, and fertilizer use and production.
